CEREMONY

The ceremony part of a wedding for some will be the most important part of the day, for others onlu stressing moment having all eyes on you.

There are several ceremony options to choose for you, the important thing is to know what feels better for you as couple.

Civil ceremonies in Italy can happen or in town halls (which are always magnificent palazzo) or in regularly licenced venues.  Documents and paperwork’s to prepare may vary according to your nationality.

Church ceremonies if at least one of the two spouses is catholic can happen in Catholic churches. Documents and paperwork’s as to be sent to the local Dioceses at least 40 days prior to the wedding

Same Sex ceremonies in Italy are legally recognized as Civil ceremonies can happen in town halls (which are always magnificent palazzo) or in regularly licenced venues.  Documents and paperwork’s to prepare may vary according to your nationality.

Blessing or Vows exchange can be celebrated everywhere couple like.  They are not legally binding or legally recognized.

A little note in choosing readings and music.  As for the Civil ceremonies generally speaking you it is highly recommended to have a friend welcoming the guests before the ceremony starts and a meaningful reading representing you as couple just before the rings exchange.  As for religious ceremonies we always recommend couples to deal directly with the minister / priest in the selection of the liturgy.

The choice of music during the ceremony is sometimes more important than the first dance. There are plenty of options: sting quartets, classic guitars, pianist, some couples even opted for jazzy trio.

You have to consider music at least during the following moments:

  • Guests taking their seats at their arrival
  • Bride and bridal party entrance – processional
  • Exchange of the rings
  • Couple and bridal party exit –

If you want to save the music for the party, simply use an iPod and charge your best man to plug in it!
